The iPEGS app for Dental Practices

Service & maintenance engineers have a hands on job which also requires a lot of form filling, data capture, recording evidence and signing of forms. These forms are vitally important for the business to be able to efficiently report or act on the maintenance or service work undertaken. Once work has been carried out this form needs to be sent back to the office to process, record or action.

New iPEGS features launched

The team here at iPEGS are always working on improving the iPEGS App and Web Portal based on your feedback and ideas and we are please to announce some more improvements and new features that have just gone live:

 

– Page Breaks
– Hidden CSV Fields

 

Make sure you update your App for all of the new features to take effect.

 

Page Breaks

 

Fed up with long forms? Tired of scrolling? Well you can now add ‘page breaks’ to your forms which improves the performance of the form and also the user experience. This is just a new field type and you simply add it to where ever you want to create a new page. Page numbers will then appear at the bottom of the form. The mandatory field check will still work as it did before so when you save the form it will check all fields on all pages.

 

Hidden CSV Field Names

 

For those of you who are importing iPEGS form data into your other systems and databases – there is now an option in the field settings where you can now ‘untick’ the option for the field to be included in the CSV export. So this is ideal for fields such as headings, sub headings, line breaks or other fields that you do not need to import.

 

iOS10 Updates

 

As with any iOS update we have had to make a number of changes and updates to ensure iPEGS works with the new version. This work has been completed successfully.

 

Server Improvements

 

As the iPEGS customer base grows so do the number of forms and users so we have now upgraded our AWS servers again improving scalability, stability and performance.
