Cambridge Regional College is one of the largest Further Education colleges in the region. Providing excellent full-time and part-time courses, apprenticeships and Higher Education programmes to over 10,000 students across two campuses.


Cambridge Regional College was looking for a digital solution to their paper based administration problem. They needed a new set processes that would save them time, reduce expenditure and improve efficiency within their Business Development team.

During a partner forum they saw a demonstration of the iPEGS product and felt that this would be the product to enable them to meet the challenges of digitising elements of their business. Following subsequent meetings and the development of an enterprise package to meet their needs, CRC began a pilot and were able to transfer a large proportion of their former paper based student forms to iPEGS.


Using iPEGS enabled CRCs Business Development Advisors to capture all their sign up paperwork with both learners and employers on pre-built electronic versions of their old paper based forms, immediately reducing paper usage and printing.

By completing the forms with mandatory fields and pre-defined drop down menu's CRC have also reduced errors and missing information. They were then able to export the forms directly back to their admin team who were then able to import the data directly into their LMS system. Previous to this the admin team had to manually type all of the data into the system which was very time consuming.

Managing user groups enhanced the iPEGS user experience of CRC. As the team work with a large number of forms, ensuring different users only access the forms relevant to them has helped save time and enable greater control.

Following the success of the pilot, CRC was able to increase the use of iPEGS across the college and further digitise its business.
